The second case isn't sane either. They purport that a pygmy (one that you don't have solid proof even exists until you finish the case) and a one-armed, one-eyed man quietly but forcibly remove a huge metal statue in the middle of the night without being noticed so that the pygmy can take its place on the pedestal and throw its spear into the victim's back, then run off, making the only witness think it was the statue that killed him.
There are huge problems to this explanation. First, you never find the statue. It's not in the killer's possession, it's not left at the scene of the crime - it's just gone. How the hell did they remove that statue from its pedestal without everybody in the neighborhood hearing it? The pedestal looks like the statue was ripped off, not cut. How did they haul it away unnoticed? Why wasn't there trace evidence of that? Second, the pygmy was at least a full foot shorter than the statue. Unless Zacharias wasn't paying attention at all as he walked past, that would've been hard to miss. Third, you find an automaton copy of the statue that can throw a spear AND basically a confession written by Marley himself, and it's NOT him?
Why would anyone who's innocent build a statue with a detachable spear? That invites disaster in and of itself. Why would anyone who wasn't planning to kill someone (or a Mythbuster) make a spear-throwing copy of said statue? Yes, granted, Marley's automaton statue couldn't have run off and jumped the wall, but there's no solid evidence that points to the pygmy. None whatsoever.
And the reason why I didn't choose Marley as suspect - his statue could throw a spear and possibly kill in one hit, but it couldn't also run away and climb the wall. Even modern robots can't do it. So, I decided he couldn't be suspect. He could make such a statue to amuse tourists. He wouldn't think of it as dangerous, before the "curse" started.
And the disappearance of the statue is a plot hole, here I agree.
And running through the traps of the temple, especially only in imagination was really unneeded.
i felt like case 3 was the best story wise though
Case 4 was the worst in my opinion , it lasted like 20 minutes and the culprit was obvious af
case 5 didn't really make any sense, specially the part with Moriarty talking , there was no explanation between of the links between moriarty and alice, its just like ''they knew each other that's it''
it felt like this game actually had only 3 cases
I thought the exorcism scene was amusing and didn't really thought more of it.
