3rd Case - So who was it??
Dont read if u havent finished the 3rd case

I think this case was one of the best in the sherlock series and one of the hardest to pin down who the killer was, specially since it doesnt give you an explanation

who did you pick ? I personally went for the dart, but the dialogue sounds like it wasnt him, he still keeps telling you it wasnt him even after you've agreed to absolve him

well, it tells u if ur right or wrong doesnt it?? (and it is right)...but yeah i dont get why they made the cutscene like that. sure its what 99% of guilty ppl do when accused but it seems out of place in this game. i wonder if they are setting up some kind of la noire thing...no spoilers if so please (i only am on case 4)

how do you check exactly to know if you were right? for me it just shows white text

also, I think you're right its probably some LA noire type of stuff going on , i just fnished case 3 but im ready to bet that it was Alice

BTW one last detail i forgot to mention

even AFTER youve gotten all the clues, the game says you have everything you need but its not true, theres one last piece of evidence left.. you can interview Cole again and you find out Dart lied about him in his interview

maybe you are playing on hard? for me i can check it, if im right its green & if im wrong its red (i had to deliberately get the 2nd case wrong to move on bc of a glitch)

I definitely agree that the final conclusion was a hard one but possible one. Even though Wilde did a good job of trying to look guilty, he would never let that guy throw a bomb in Holmes' apartment why he is also in there. He cannot replace him if he's dead as well.

So if Wilde is NOT guilty, all he said about harelip guy is true, as well as the part where harelip mentions "The Dart". So harelip is working with The Dart AND The Hammer, and since he is already working on stealing things with The Hammer he is working on killing Holmes with The Dart. Also if he would work with The Hammer he would not visit him one day after the failed Bomb attack and not talk about that and only the valuable Loot instead. So Dart is only one left.

But i agree on the ending. Eventually ALL the endings suck balls, and i was really surprised that The Dart ending turned out right. A bit unsatisfying. We all love them to confess in the end.

I thought I was right with Wilde. I absolved him and he acted like a complete lunatic, just like holmes was saying. I figured I was right.

lol if you condemn him he will remain silence too, while if you accuse the right one, it is like he is not the culprit
Well I think Cole behind it...but I repeated the scenerio to choose the dart!

It's probably the Dart. When you absolve him saying that I know it was the kids idea to kill me, he agrees that jeremiah manipulated him to kill you. I think one wouldn't lie about that to a detective for he may be pulling a trick. And also Jeremiah tells Wilde that he works for the Dart. He was going to kill him thinking Wilde is Holmes and why lie to someone you are about to kill. But nevertheless this is all my prediction. Only thing that buggs me about this conclusion is the guy in green dragon tavern talking about that the murder attempt on Holmes had failed, the one at the far left corner of the tavern. Why would someone who hangs out in Cole's place would know about the murder attempt?
