Thank you for being so clear, BigbenCM. Time will put everything on their place. If Linux has to sink on gaming thanks to desinterested developers, let it be that way.
However, I have an inner feeling that tells me it will not happen like that.

Why? Why no Linux build? Is there a reason for that? The dev studio doesn't want money?
Which engine is this made with? Are there middlewares preventing from building for Linux?
It's not like we're asking for a FreeBSD port... (although that would be even better).

I always wonder why developers make such a poor decisions regarding technology.

I understand that support for additional platform is related with additional effort and costs, but it's still possible to make it minimal and still profit from different markets.

Moreover we don't know how market will look in a few years and it's always easier to adjust a game if you wisely chosen elastic multiplatform framework - it allows publisher to make profits in the long run, whatever happens with OSes market.

for what it's worth if you are not a linux die hard/zealot, the game runs on wine quite well. The only big bug is that the camera movement gets locked, but pressing escape or tab fixes it.

now the problem is with the steam version because it has the crappy the denuvo you need the gog version.

you need dxvk 0.70 (you can install it with winetricks), a recent version of wine, and decent vulkan compatible card.

(this was my first attempt there is some stuttering but after tweaking a bit it got much better really)
