can't access video settings

I just bought the game and when I start it, it starts with a lower resolution, I think its 720p, the think is, when I click on settings and then Video, the game closes, it doesnt show any error or anything, it just closes, s I can't change it to 1080p

same happens with Crimes & Punishments

is there any fix to it? thanks

okay I fixed it

1.go to Configuration file(s) location :
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Sherlock Holmes - The Devil's Daughter\SH8GAME\Config\

2.open SH8SystemSettings

3. look for
ResX=1152
ResY=864

then change the number to 1920 and 1080
click File > Save

4. launch the game

not sure if you can fix but mine works

it worked with the other game too, so I managed to get some point to give you a prize, I know its nothing but digital data, but still...
