Thank you to everyone who's played the Freetown Forest demo so far — and especially to those who took the time to share thoughtful feedback. It means a lot and is directly shaping the direction I'm heading. Right now, I'm deep in the rework to bring the demo closer to the final vision.

What to expect in the upcoming update:

• Refined controls & UI — Smoother movement, clearer displays, collision fixes, and better feel overall

• Cleaner artwork — Polishing sprites, atmosphere, to add more uniformity and enhancing visual appeal.

• Expanded gameplay mechanics — adding more puzzles, areas to explore, items to collect, and endings to see.

• Improved scares — more to see, more to fear.

If you've been following me on X or TikTok (@pixelarttony), you've probably caught glimpses of the new additions — trail blazing mechanics, seeing what happens when rules aren't followed, and more unnerving encounters. This rework builds on all that to make the experience feel more cohesive and terrifying. Thanks again for your patience and support during this solo-dev journey. I'm taking the time needed to make it right, and I can't wait to share the improved demo with you soon.
