How to do local co-op?
NOTE: I have the game on a separate account that's designed for co-op games for my wife and I to play. That's why you won't see the mouse icon next to my name.

When I start the game, there are no local co-op options. There's a versus mode and the main game. Obviously, anything that's versus doesn't count as local co-op, so that leaves the main game, but there's no way to get a second player in.

Once you connect your 2nd controller it should automatically recognize it. If you have plugged the 2nd controller into your system and it's still not registering a 2nd player, please contact support@wayforward.com (and let them have any screen shot you may have taken.) You'll want to send them your computer specs when you message them. To do that you can go to 'Start' and search for dxDiag. Run this program. It should give you a window that looks like this: https://wayforward.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/dxDiag.jpg

Please send them the information you find in these sections. You can download it as a txt file or send a screenshot.

Okay, I'll do that, but I also need to add that my wife and I are attempting to play this through the Steamlink. I don't know if this would cause a problem (because our controllers are plugged into the Steamlink itself), but it's essentially streaming the game from the PC to the Steamlink, so it shouldn't really matter.

My experience with doing this with Black Ops III is that provided the controllers are plugged into the Steam link, it should recognize the them correctly (or about as well as they would be if you were both not using Steam link and have the controllers plugged into your actual PC...) I'll give this a check myself tomorrow and report back with my findings.

It would be awesome in attempting to do those CO-OP missions where only 1 Player can play four/2 controllers for the achievement using different key binding in a keyboard. Such as the Numpad, Arrows, and Letters.

Like say for example Player 1 is the controller, Player 2 has WASD for movement and Z and X for shoot and jump and E/Q for Switching, Player 3 will have uhjk for movement, Y/I for Switching, N and M for Shooting and Jumping. And pretty much player 4 Has the numbpad with Enter being the shoot 7 and 9 being the switch and Space being the Jump.
