How to get back the rifle scope?

At some point in hte game, you get a scope for hte 5-shot rifle, making it much like a sniper rifle. Later, you get captured, losing all your weapons, but slowly get your weapons back over time. At this point, I've escaped Caslte Wolfenstein, and I can see that there's a nice round scope folded to the right side of my gun, but it seems like the "fire-mode selector" button from The New Order is gone, and I can't seem to find a key that brings the scope back up. Is there something basic I'm missing?

Unless you rebinded the key it should be "X"

Thanks! I think in TNO it was V for the right gun, X for the left gun (useful since you're often dual-wielding, and the alt fire modes are important). So I tried V but didn't think to consider X.
