Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

Runs poorly on decent AMD/Radeon hardware.
Ryzen 5 1600 and RX 5600, installed on SSD.

It runs like arse, do the other Wolfensteins run like this? I bought them all except the weird one.

The games run flawlessly getting a stable fps throughout . The game however does run poorly on AMD cards.

The game is capped at 60fps but same issue here, rx 5600 xt gigabyte, at max settings suck, had to reduce some settings and still not great

Same here. Getting not more than 60FPS which is a shame considering I run a 144Hz Panel

Hi fellow RX 5600 XT chad, I hear you, it doesn't feel like it's working at all, very hitchy and weird.

And I'm running off an SSD, giving the game the best environment I can, but alas, it seems to be constantly fighting against the Heart of the Card!

I know AMD is German, but c'mon, this is taking the whole WW2 theme a bit too far!

Have a look at this, it seems to be a "fix" but I don't really see it.

This runs perfectly smooth @ 60fps on max settings with my Vega 56, so perhaps issues limited to later cards?

Lol i have FX 8350 16GB RAM and RX 570 4gb and works perfect.

I'm running MODERN HARDWARE, sir, not an electronic archaeological dig site!

its not AMD specific this is just the poor state of games that somehow pass the bethesda QA department for release on PC. you can use the newest RTX cards and watch the the performance bar and it wont even come close to using 80% as they don't bother optimizing or updating their games because they know PC users will either fix it for them or just play it once and not actually put in a complaint anywhere that matters

my Ryzen 3600 GTX 1660TI can barely get this game to do 60fps all settings on low running on an SSD. when i can do games releasing yesterday on high at 1440p. their games are barely ever compatible with current hardware let alone future hardware, changing the fps in half their games breaks the physics. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fallout 4 loads SLOWER on an SSD, thats the backwards ass ♥♥♥♥ we are dealing with here. i don't blame radeon/AMD

I had i7-7700k, 1080Ti and 32GB of RAM, but I also had issues with popping textures and sometimes low draw distance (buildings and things popping, and getting very tesselated). The issue is present on my current upgrade of i7-9700k, 64GB RAM and "old" 1080Ti. But I fixed it by following a ton of advices on forum and one of them did the trick (not sure which one). Its badly optimized in general it seems.
