Enjoyed demo but better if TWO PLAYER, split screen ? Same play area?

I enjoyed the demo the only thing i dont like about it is that it would be really good if you could have a two player version,

you could have them both on the same play area so they would not be able to run away from each other, like being tied together on a rope.

Basically like sonic and tails, silver and many others i can think of. Although i do like split screen but this way would be easier i think.

You could go one step futher and have a small party multiplayer type option it would be good but its the teo player that i think would really interest a lot of people
