Micro lag every 4 seconds

So i get this mini lag like every 4 seconds wich makes this game repetetive. I know many others have this problem so i was wondering is there a fix for it?

Seems that Eidos is ignoring this problem. If you unplug your mouse from USB port and play with joystick everything is OK in my configuration. But htis is not a real solution :(

they wont fix it. it has been happening for 3 years now and no patch to fix it. just get a refund.

I got it fixed by unplugging my mouse and using my controller instead. It's really annoying that i have to do that, but it's playable

I unpluged my gaming mouse ans tried with another standard mouse et voila: the problem is solved. It's not the solution it should be, but its OK for me...

I have logitech chillstream and it seems it is not compatible with the game so i can only play it via keyboard and mouse. My mouse and keyboard are, again, logitech and they cause this stupid lag. AND i have no other mouse and keyboard so i will never play it smoothly. But i am glad i bought it via humble bundle. Anyway it is not nice to see that they havent patched it yet

It's a well known bug, affecting more than one game from Eidos, including 'Kane & Linch', 'Mini Ninjas' AFAIK

Shame on Eidos that never fixed these terrible BUGs for users with multimedia/advanced keys keyboards. These annoying little freezes every 3-4 secs make the GAME UNPLAYABLE for many users.

ASUS G751JY gaming laptop here (chipset Intel HM87), affected.

Try the Demo and if you have the lag bug (depending on your HW), DON'T BUY THIS GAME. A lot of users have reported this issue.

P.S.
No, disabling HID devices or unplugging your controller/keyboard/mouse should never be accepted by customers as "solution". We must claim a real software patch-fix.

It's a shame they never fixed this...

EDIT: on two other PCs there is no lag whatsoever, inlcuding an ASUS G752VY with chipset Intel C236. Don't give up on this little gem, just keep it warm, cross your fingers and try it on another PC.

Disconnecting my mouse also worked for me. Weird.
