Definitly controller. Analog sticks provide smooth movement and aim. Plus vibration feedback adds to the fun.

I finished this game before with K+M and it worked just fine. But I will say if you have controller, use it instead.

LOL U R joking right? Mouse is good at aiming and this game is not a shooter.

That always depends of what you usually play this type of games. I enjoy playing it with K+M, but many other games I only enjoy if it is with a controller.
This game can be played very well with K+M, so it's up to you to choose what it feel better playing with.
