Constantly freezes on Windows 10

Does it happen to someone else? It is very annoying, it cannot be played, it freezes every 3 seconds and then goes back to walking, both in the menu and in the game itself.

I play this game at 4k on my Windows10 64bit OS and it runs fine. No freezes for me. Only issue I have with the game is the cutscenes don't look 4k, but that doesn't bother me too much. Also this game does have xbox controller support which is awesome.

I had also thought about that, I think it's sacrificing a lot in exchange for so little, it's just a game to pass the time.

after the mini ninja logo starts, the game gets very slow.... cant even start
start manager-> mini ninja is inactive

Works fine on Windows 10. If it doesn't it's your specific issue (check the antivirus, drivers etc.).
Some motherboards have micro-freezes every 2-3 seconds, to solve this issue you can try this solution.
You won't loose anything: your keyboard, mouse, controllers will still work fine, but this game will have no more lags.

I'm very angry with that. How could be this? Steam should demand software support to the developers and microsoft. I buyed this game, one of my favourites from ps3 and it is a total dissapointment in steam.

Yep. Great and funny game, unfortunately with a serious bug seeking for input devices on the wrong devices causing the lags. This happens only with some chipsets/mobos.
I tried myself the game on different PCs and 1/3 was affected :(
Shame on non existent support fix from IO Interactive/Square Enix.

ATM I've uninstalled it: will play it on my next PC (hoping there'll be no bug there too)

I'm using a very high quality motherboard, and it is shameful that this happens (Asus Rampage V Edition 10), the developers do not care at all about the state of this game, this basically has no support anymore.

Yep, I'm with you my friends. I reported this problem on Square Enix official forum, sent emails to support, even to IO Interactive itself. Not a single reply. They don't make money with fixes.

All I can say from empirical experience is that may happen with some motherboards and not with others: for sure it's a bug in the game incorrectly polling wrong alleged input devices found
A real pity because this game is great and you can use many different strategies.

If someone knows hobbist coders able to fix games... this can be our only hope: an unofficial fix patching the exe to remove that stupid code polling wrong devices in search of extra input devices.
