From what a friend on PSN said, Eve is actually a very nice female character, both in personality and appearance. she´s not Alloy or that woman from FromSpoken, who both trash talk everyone who cares about them.
And i don´t think anyone is upset over her being a woman, or that their God is a woman, people just don´t want ugly characters, you don´t want to spend 40/70 hours looking at Rachel Zegler mug, but someone attractive, be it men or women.

They'll make ANY excuse for ANY game no matter what the intention of the game or devs how it makes them right. They will come up with some random non-sense why a game does or doesn't fit in their world view, based on whether or not they actually like the game. They will argue for or against it being successful, despite what numbers say. Trying to reason with people who don't care about anything but barking the words of their streamer god (even if they are misrepresenting that streamer) is a waste of time. They don't think for themselves or invent ANY BS to make something fit. Even when the world is crumbling around them, they will grasp at anything to prove that the choice they made was the right one and everyone else is delusional.

This is what happened with Baldur's Gate 3. They love the game and will argue up and down with why the game isn't actually woke. Even when they themselves originally declared it woke in the past when they initially discovered it. They will follow the crowd without shame, changing their view to fit in the one of their streaming god.
