As far as I know Sniper GW 2 does not unlock and install until MARCH 12th, 2013. At least that is what hte game information page says... And I THINK that means the Sniper GW Gold that is included under the pre-purchase deal will not unlock and install until then too. It would be nice if STEAM would pipe up and clear up the confusion about all this wouldn't it???

According to the game page, since both versions are labeled Pre-Purchase, the SGW1Gold game is supposed to be included with both game releases. The extras are listed seperately for the extended/enhanced game since they are only availiable with that game version. In ANY case the first game had better be included with both since it says it is.

no, like i stated some posts ago, after a couple of hours SGWGE appeared in my Lib and i am playing it now. But yes, SGW2 is released in march

I am in the USA. I pre-purchased SGW 2 as a purchase for myself. I received the SGW 1 Gold game with it for free as advertised. The SGW 1 Gold game showed up in my STEAM Inventory list since I already own it and SGW 2 showed up on my game library list. SGW 2 let me add it to my favorites so now it shows in my favorites list with a note in the "Ready To Play" column that says "Not Yet Released". Since I already owned SGW 1 Gold I gifted it to a friend. I got a message from him later that day saying that he received the game gift, has already installed and started playing it. So the purchase process works as advertized so you should receive the first game immediately for installation or to gift out. All I can suggest is to just be patient since SGW 2 does not officially release/unlock until March 12th.

People, for god sake, stop preordering games. Everyone can make a mistake. Especially devs while making their game. Then, consumers' mistake is to pre-order a game while not knowing much about it. What can an additional weapon or dlc give you, when game is so bad, that even with that additional content it will bring no fun to play it. Just wait patiently 1-2 days, Check reviews, check gameplays, Then decide.

There is no reason to make a blanket statement like that. Some games have quality pre-order incentives. If the developer has a flawless history with YOU and you know that YOU will enjoy it, not anyone who reviews it. Make your own decisions. End of discussion.
