City Interactive has announced plans to release a free multiplayer DLC pack for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 and patch Direct X 11 support into the PC version shortly after the game's release.
The free DLC pack, which will be available to download via Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network and PC in the "upcoming weeks", will introduce two new multiplayer maps - Tower Defense and Temple Crossing - and a new unrevealed multiplayer mode.
Meanwhile, an additional patch for the PC version will integrate DirectX 11 support into City's sniping title, although it hasn't yet been revealed how the game will take advantage of the advanced graphics tech.
"Free multiplayer DLC containing two new maps and an exciting additional game mode is just the first step in our plan to support the Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 experience for our fans after launch.
Temple Crossing and Tower Defense both feature awesome terrain for intense sniping action and will feature Team Deathmatch and Deathmatch modes. These maps will be available FREE of charge for PC March 20th!"
