this program don't reduce ping anyway, but lag spikes
the "magic" is easily explained here
http://www.leatrix.com/latencyfaq
Very interesting as well. But I am not sure if something good is going to happen if someone fiddles with it. Here is a guide to deactivate it manually: http://www.ghacks.net/2012/09/10/reduce-gaming-latency-ping-in-windows/
(In order to deactivate it you will need to install/activate MSMQ first: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc730960.aspx )
I think it is possible that this may cause something positive. But it's a bit more in depth than I usually tinker with stuff, because I tend to end up in dead ends. But this is a discussion. So it is allowed that I share my thoughts, right?
And in comparison to GGPO... well I have never played a GGPO game online as far as I can tell. So try it out and let the people know if it is of any use for the community.
Tried speedtest.net and got slightly better results than usual. (latency -4ms (normally 23ms, now 19ms), +a bit more up and download speed)
Maybe Leatrix is of some use, but I do not expect to much of it.
