Strange no one is talking about it. Pretty interesting interview, there is even question about PC version and looks like ASW will port Xrd to PC after all (like it was doubtful). Don't think it will be -SIGN- anyway. It's even possible they'll release it on consoles (or firstly on PS4) and on PC at the same time since Ishiwatari said that there is a distinct possibility, though he also said, there is no particular plans for such release (I believe Ishiwatari isn't sure because he don't want to make it bad release, as he said they want to try their best for PC version, though we knew it maybe since the beginning, because of Shini).

Just as i said - stick to the +R for 2 -3 years... Then Xrd will become playble.

Well, I think it will come if not with PS4 release, then at least shortly after PS4 release. This is going to be different thing anyway, will take a lot of work to make it something like SFIV, for example, it has a lot of good PC settings.

In case of characters, you have to remember, there is still no date release for Revelator on arcades, so, it's likely they'll bring one more or maybe more than just one character, so, we can expect everything, but at least they plan to bring all AC+R characters. And Jack-O seems another kind of BB character. Xrd is a mix of GG and BB, so, personally, I'm not surprised. I wish GG wasn't also BB game, because there is already BB franchise for BB players and they plan to release new one in 2016, but at least there is my main in it.

Thank you for posting this, Sledgehammer. I didn't even know Daisuke was returning to AX2015 and I am sad bc of it, but it wouldn't have been able to go due to work.

At least I got to meet him once, back in 2009!

Must get my Xrd copies signed...

On a more related note, I hope they eventually (sooner than later, preferably) put Raven in as a playable character.

Just because Ishiwatari wants a PC version, doesn't mean it will happen. Just like silmutanous world wide release, would be nice, logisical issues aside. I'll believe it when I see it basically. If you want to hold hope, hold it. Otherwise throw it into the wind since it's not confirmation at all that we will be getting it. Even within the forseeable future.

On the flip side of the coin, the guys at Team Ninja didn't want a PC version of Dead or Alive 5 but it happened anyway (probably due to the publisher Koei Tecmo's request). So anything can happen really.

Pretty much really. Until there really is solid confirmation, people shouldn't really bother with just gossip. Just like how Harada wasn't seriously considering a PC version Tekken 7 until April 2015. It was only fan speculation stirred up by Epic Japan by that point due to the mention of Tekken 7's lead platform being PC.
