Greetings, I have some questions i'd like ask.


1. How arcade and survival modes difficulty works? Does it gets more difficult each round? Does it have special way to increase/lower difficulty by winning or losing certain rounds like in strive?

2. How to unlock EX/Gold characters? Found some infos saying i can win them after beating them in Survival, but i didn't get any as far as i know. While others says i have to finish the story of each character i want.

3. How to choose EX/Gold characters? Is it true that I have to use select or start button at the characters selection?

4. Where can I find the info sheets for the ex/gold characters? Its difficult to find information about them.

5. Is there a way to increase further the difficulty of bots above Maniac? Or is there a way to weaken myself as form of handicap? Maybe tweaking game's files?

6. If i use cheat engine in offline modes while connected to internet, will I get banned?

7. The coming question is related to ac+r, rev2 and strive. Can I add custom characters or/and skins to any of these guilty gear titles? If yes, which one? I saw recently people using dbz/jojo skins in Strive, I think i saw someone saying it was also possible in rev2.

1. Difficulty in Arcade mode is determined by the Difficulty Settings in Game Options. However, The last 2 encounters you face will have a difficulty spike. In survival, the higher your survival level is the harder the game becomes. Also do note that beyond Level 600 in Survival the common enemies are EX Shadow characters while the Boss Encounters are Gold enemies

2. Gold and Ex characters dont need to be unlocked, Just go to Arcade Mode and change the colour option to "SLASH" by pressing the TAUNT button then press the "RECORD ENEMY" button to pick the Gold Character and Press RECORD ENEMY while the colour option is at "RELOAD" to pick the Shadow character. Kliff and Justice dont have Shadow or Gold playable characters

3. Refer to 2. No you press the START button to Choose between the option of playing as an Ex character or choosing the GG mode. GG modes changes how Instakills work. SELECT is the back button in the character select screen

for Gold Characters, just google: "Guilty Gear XX Gold Characters" (Im too lazy lol)

5. No there isnt a way that we know of. Just play Story mode as far as I know.

6. I dunno what cheat engine does to this game.

7. For GGXXACPR, the only thing you can mod easily is colours palettes using PalMod. I heard you can use UMOD to replace +R's Health gauges with AC+'s Health Gauges but honestly I couldnt be bothered to. You can mod Music and Sound effects too. Rev2 has modding but the mods are very few and range from colour swaps and Stage Swaps (Bringing Sign stages to Rev and vice versa) I havent seen any model mods. Go to Nexus Mods for Xrd Mods.
