Switch ver online unplayable
just tried playing this game on the switch with a friend but the lag was so bad it was unplayable - we were able to play together on saints row just fine

Blame the delay-based netcode combined with Nintendo's network architecture, I guess.

Most use wifi on that console, expect those results or worse...

Switch has the best available netcode (or at the very least, handling of the netcode) for +R, with lobbies, spectating ability and actual playable matches for (potentially) cross-region.

From NA West region, I've netplayed Canada, Japan, and Florida all with relative success.

Make sure you and your netplay partner have the right resources such as an Ethernet Cable Adapter that is compatible with the Nintendo Switch.
