Incorrect controller mapping

Using PS4 controller via Steam Input, dpad is fine but shoulder and face buttons are all mapped incorrectly. Anybody else encountered this issue?

Yes. What I did to resolve it was to check the settings in Big Picture mode for controller. I created a custom profile for my controller and ensure that PlayStaytion controller would activate any time I connected it. After that, in the game was fine for me. Before I had the custom profile thought, it was defaulting the controls to weird buttons and even remapping in the game was a pain.

So yeah, in short, Big Picture mode to check your controller and make sure Playstation Controller is selected when you connect your controller.
