But regardless, some characters are much easier to get basics down on and have a stronger start than you otherwise would.
Ky, Axl, Sol.
Axl can easily do anti air combos that do a ton of damage. Like 2s -> 6k -> J.H -> J.D -> J.63214S. The jump may have to be a high jump, I cant remember. Other anti air combos utilize J.623D and J.623H for some nice damage.
Maybe also Testament early on. For Testament, comboing into sweep(2d) and then setting up traps, or comboing sweep into curse(236p or 236k, depending on combo) should be quite effective against other new-ish players. But i dont know if any combos that "deal a ton of damage" with testament are easy to learn.
