Did Testament get nerfed?

I'm looking at a combo video of him rn and i can't do any of the combos there unless i use Roman Cancel. Am i doing something wrong or did he get nerfed?

On the contrary. He was already very good in AC and they buffed him in +R, and he became one of the most top tier characters in this game along with Zappa.

You cant do the same combo to every character. Some character have weird hurtboxes and in general characters have different weight classes.
So if you try the combo on another character it maybe dont work.

They didn't nerf Testament, they reworked him for +R. During that rework they changed Badlands so you can't loop it on it's own anymore.

Hey, some parts of Testament's combo game are no longer present in +R, mainly the H EXE beast OTG pickup.

Yeah... I only played AC, and when I hopped into +R I was like... Why is getting Raoh harder, but why are my summons SO STRONG?
