Ok, when i got this game for free I felt that it wouldn't prove to be a masterpiece, i imagined it as a videogame version of "Alarm für Cobra 11 – Die Autobahnpolizei", a classic German action series where basically it's a non-stop highway chase and mess. My Dad used to watch it when there was literally nothing else on tv. But i'm digressing. So being in the mood for some mindless road mayhem I've decided to finally give this game a try. Well, the impact with my first day as a Autobahn police officer has been tougher than expected. I've found myself in some kind of closed part of the highway, alone, and trying to understand how to hop on and boot my police car. After comically finding a way and learning to drive again in this impromptu parking slot, i decide to check the radio. My supervisor, who i really hoped would be present for my first day on patrol, is nowhere to be found and never explained me how to use the radio, so i basically try every button till it comes to life. I enter the autobahn and there is no one.. literally. The radio informs me that i'm not using it correctly, without telling me why or how to fix it.. I come back to the parking lot, and enter the highway on the opposite side, and success! I'm on patrol! Immediately in front of me i find a very suspect car, and the voice in the radio suggest me to get close to have a check. I duly obey the order, and discover that the car is carrying some illegal items. In a pristine GTA fashion, i start to tail and crash repeatedly against it, but hitting the guard-rail. Determined to prove myself worthy on my first day, i don't ask for support, and neither an ambulance, but i throw myself at crazy speed towards the aforementioned car, and crash again against it with passion. The car, with no damage, keeps going. My car, with no damage but after causing too much noise, is called back at the station by the voice in the radio. My first day starts again, like in a grotesque yet hilarious Groundhog day.

In all this, i was too distracted to notice a big Boeing 747 landed on my desk, and.. oh no, it was just my pc being squeezed to the edge by the 2002 graphics of this super well optimized game.

Well, at least i had lots of fun writing this review.
