Worst player is what I call you.
I'm right and you're wrong, nyah, nyah, nyah.
I trust the devs enough to pre-order Sniper GW2 with full belief it will kick ass, not GotY kick ass but be fun, enjoyable and do what it is supposed to as a game, BE ENTERTAINING.
EDIT: I am also hugely proud of the dev team for sticking with the franchise and listening to the fans and players as to what to do next, and so far it looks like they listened well Sniper 2 looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss.
I am sorry, but they took the sniping section from call of duty modern warfare (the first one), and tried to make it into a whole game.
When they realised it was crap, they made most of the game just standard shooter fare, but very very badly made.
The amount of times I wanted to cry in frustration while storming a camp with a load of other marines in a game about sneaking and sniping. Or sitting in a tower in the next section having to kill as many enemy as possible while they all know exactly where I am and are hitting me as soon as I try to fire on them.
Awful game. I paid £1 in the sale for it, and it was about £5 too much.
Oh and the bullet cam had previously been done in both max payne AND sniper elite, which was the other game this copied for it's "inspiration"
I spent money on pre-ordering the sequel of the game, and I honestly was't expecting much.
But nevertheless, I downloaded the original (was part of the pre-order bonus) and began playing it.
It looks very impressive, even on fairly low settings.
I noticed the gunshots from the enemy can sound from anywhere on the map except from where the barrel of the gun is.
I noticed I couldn't climb stairs.
I noticed that every gun (excluding the snipers and the silenced handgun) had massive amounts of recoil, which is uncontrollable even when burst firing.
Did any of this annoy me?
Not at all.
I actually found it massively entertaining trying to run and gun across an oil refinery with a gun that just points at the ceiling when you pull the trigger, rather than firing bullets.
Just because a game is missing some polish doesn't mean that it'sbadly made or broken.
If anything, it's more entertaining to watch enemy's body fly up into the air beacuse of a slight ragdoll glitch than to watch the same dying animation every. Single. Time.
All I'm saying is, sometimes it's great if a game isn't very well polished, because it means you can be in the prescence of some of the most hilarious moments of your gaming life.
WOW. I just finished it a couple of mintues ago. This game is terrible.
Since the 2nd or 3rd level (not Act) I just wanted to finish it and get it over with to get the achievments. I didnt enjoy it at all.
The sniper parts are "passable" (ignoring the fact that enemies instantly know were you are once you fire ... most of the times anyways). I ecountered so many bugs through the game I wonder if they even tested it before releasing it. The Delta whatever parts (when you are not a sniper) are simply the worst experience I have had playing a FPS. The aiming/gunplay is just terrible ... it just feels ... wrong. Its like an earthquake goes off everytime you pull the trigger.
I almost fell of my chair when I killed the last guy and instantly it went to a black screen with a pretty lame The End.
Anyway ... YAY its over.
Do you have some kind of switch fitted that lets you turn off your brain for hours on end or something?
I would want to be a real sniper.... in a clocktower or something..... if I played this game for that long
I couldn't finish the tutorial mission at the start. It was so bad
