I have the exact opposite issue. Intro and play are upside down and menu screens are all right side up. Very odd. I've never experienced this with any game EVER! Totally unplayable for me...PC Version, Sniper: Ghost Warrior.

@Jaxx How do I fix the upside down intro video/screen?

But I want to see the into. I can't just turn upside down for a cutscene. Gravity doesn't work like that. Isn't there some way to fix it?

The WMV3 codec is having a problem with this game. making it upside down and/or black and white. I changed the video codec using ffmpeg and it worked very well. I used the command

md copy
for %i in (*.wmv) do ffmpeg -i "%i" -q:a 2 -q:v 2 "./copy/%~ni.wmv"

in side (Game folder)\Game\Data\Menu\Movies
then copied it from the \Game\Data\Menu\Movies\copy folder
to the \Game\Data\Menu\Movies folder

but you can use any other video converter. :cleanseal:

Yep the problem is still a thing. Gameplay seems to work fine, main menu is operational. But the intro movie and the background video behind the main menu are both IN BLACK AND WHITE and UPSIDE DOWN.

Has anyone found a REAL solution to this? I kind of think the videos might be cool IF they worked right. Hint: having us delete the video files is not a real solution, it sort of defeats the point. :steamfacepalm:

When its upside down just set your settings then when you go in game its right side up.

1. What settings exist that will undo the upside down and black and white glitch on these videos?
2. Not the in-game options menu because that was the FIRST thing I tried and it's still screwy.
3. The in-game cut-scenes are FINE, as is the gameplay. It's just the intro video and the menu background (as well as the studio logo videos) that are messed up. They play FINE if I just run them directly from windows. But somehow the game's rendering tools flip it upside down and remove all the color.

SOLUTION: I had this same problem, so I recreated the videos using an updated codec. Works fine now. Where can I post the updated videos?

Wonder what changed in the codecs to make them now say "hey these old videos should be greyscale AND upside-down"
LOL

Can someone please write instructions for those of us who are *NOT* programmers or engineers?
I assume you need the ffmpeg 3rd-party editor program first, then you're uspposed to take that line of code "md copy ... ni.wmv" and paste it SOMEWHERE??? in ffmpeg. But then it looks like you just listed the same folder three times in a row after that line of code? I don't know what I"m looking at here.
