Now I use a desk ,mouse n kybrd...There is little table's under the main top of my desk, that can swivel out towards me.So I now rest my forearms on my chairs arms, and with a downward slope my hands meet up with the two little swivel tables. One on the right holds mouse pad n mouse. One on the left i use for sgw,and typing..But when im playing a run n gun game like csgo...My keybrd is on my lap.which acually is better than using the tables.Becasue i can sit with my back flat against my chair.Thers no stretching or reaching for key,or leaning forward 3 inches from screen to see farther. Its all natural body movements, and positions.
The only real drawback to kybrd and mouse,is if you want a good mouse that lasts, and and has high D.P.I..You really have to drop some money.Ive tried the $50.00-$100.00 range..All of the wheels teeth gets worn out really fast. The litttle clicker mechanism underneath the triggers also wares quickly. You may get a year outta a $100 mouse...You may not notice it but slowly your skills will deminish,as the mouses main uses do too. Then as time passes you are just trying to compinsate for its loss, with raising the mouse sensitivity settings etc.....so now i just go to several local thrift stores and I can find them for couple dollars, sometimes brand new.
The important things here is,Don't waste money....Buy the best so you can have the best...or don't even try to get halfway too the best, because there not made to last..Only made to appear too the customer it's as good as the expensive ones. Most importantly make sure your arms and hands are always in a downward position, and that is bascially the blunt of hand and wrists problems from being on a desk alot.Another reason why gamers kills etc go down as the game match nears the end.Hand and arm fatigue...
I use the wired Xbox joypad (no wireless) for windonows to play SGW, I'm relatively good at playing, I'm quick in my movements and aim
My joypad works very well on SGW but my SGW game is FX, not steam.
I have other steam games where I use my joypad and I do not find any problem (Sniper Elite3, SGW2 and specs: the line, I also have SGW but it is not installed on my pc).
Conosco altri utenti che giocano con Joypad Xbox 360 for windows su SGW di steam, without having problems but I do not know if their joypad is wired or wireless.
On SGW the joypad should work, you can try options, commands, change commands from mouse to jpad, confirm, close the game and start it again. :-)
