well the upside down problem is with the graphic cards driver, i don't know if you are trolling? but it look like there is something to do with the codec of the videos , because when i play the videos on the windowns media player or anything else it's just normal as possible
On Sniper: Ghost Warrior (SGW), the menu image and intro movie displayed correctly up to Windows 7, but changed with Windows 8 and later. If I remember correctly, on Windows 8 the image and movie were upside down and backward (reversed), but still in color. On Windows 10 the display is reversed and in black and white. The actual image and movie files are the same files as when the game was released. And as you say, if you play them outside of SGW, they display correctly.
Microsoft made changes to the Graphics Display Interface (GDI) in Windows 8 and later that made many games incompatible. You can search that. I believe that means that the way SGW calls the GDI, that worked with 7 and earlier, is no longer supported in Windows 8 and later and is the reason they are reversed. Also, I don't believe it's an issue with the video driver. SGW calls the GDI which calls the Video driver to display an image. Since other standalone programs that correctly display SGW's image and movie files use the same GDI to video driver interface, I put the blame on SGW using 'no longer supported' commands to the GDI. And, I have very little hope that City Interactive (CI) will update the game to fix the issue. I don't know the details of the old and new GDI command set, and I don't know if it's even possible to patch in-place the function calls to the GDI to replace the old commands with new commands that would make the game display its image files correctly. It may be possible, but is not a trivial project.
So, you asked how to fix it, and you didn't want to hear that it can't be fixed. Well, I truly believe the solution I offered might 'fix' it. If a normal image file is being displayed by SGW reversed, then a reversed image file would display as normal.
But to go to kernel level on windons to fix it it's just too much for me, thx.
