The song is about "the man" (in other words Fang) being restrained (not free to do what he wants the way he wants it) by the girls.
"message" could work too I guess, but for some reason I hear man stage there. I played the song over and over to confirm myself. I'm not from an english speaking country, so someone with a native ear might hear it better.
Considering the subject of the song, it would make more sense that the line was a complained that nothing enough manly was going on at that time. xd
By the way, I am not OneMan (from the youtube channel OneManCast). I can tell he copy pasted the lyrics I posted here earlier that year. xd
... at least he tells the truth later in that video when he mentioned he transcribed them. Anyway, whatever mistake I made here is also in that same video.

Due to the nature of american english, some things are a little hard to get just by ear for me.
For example, right now I think: "(I got a) Gotta little babe-hell of a leash", or "(I got to) Gotta lit up babe-hell of a leash". even though instead of babe, it sounds like bay to me and Leash sounds more like leese.
Lady pull my 'in'tent to come back. (I think the singer does say intent, not just tend, which might be a mistake of me. xd)
"be knee" is more likely "beneath", but be knee is more accurate to the sound for some reason. (it could be some kind of saying...)

that unclear part sounds kinda like:
"If I loose my (her?) this battle to survive."
"If I loose my whole, this battle will be mine." (this is I think the only line I can correctly hear in that part xd)
"My will by (whose?) by (her?) (it will'r?) alright."
