1. Pets: Pets are now the new character equipment slot. Currently pets are just cosmetic only, and you do lose them on death. Pet eggs drop from easter eggs and from bosses. Egg Incubators are craftable at the workbench.
   
2. Experimental: Movement is now normalized, meaning you wont move faster diagonally
   
3. You can now dash over gaps in flooring
   
4. Status effect rework: renamed and reorganized status effects so they could be re-used more easily. I also added a few new ones, but they aren't in the game yet.
   
5. Dungeons will now generate with rotated room shapes, to add more variety
   
6. Prototyped some dungeon aesthetic improvements for forest dungeons.
   
7. New Settings: ctrl-w protection (toggleable), selectable crosshairs, sticky recall (recall activates on button press and need not be held), borderless fullscreen (windows only)
   
8. Small updates to tutorial to help introduce some of the mechanics
   
9. Movement on cobblestone is increased and added to the roads in the sphere

Features

• A lot of time this patch has been spent setting up a Steam playtest application. This will become available in the coming weeks, first to supporters and then to the general public. I am currently working to get the Mythfall builds approved by Steam.
  
• I made improvements to mob AI to make them feel a bit better and make them easier to extend. This might come with some bugs in boss fights, so let me know if you see any.
  
• Added a setting for players who want to disable scrollwheel zoom on their character.
  
• Updated the player death animation to happen more immediately. Previously, there was an unnecessary server back-and-forth, causing a delay in the death animation.

Fixes

• Fixed a bug where players could heal after they died, making it look like they died with HP. Previously, if your HP hit 0, you still had a few (ping-dependent) frames to drink a potion or have lifesteal/regen proc, causing your HP to go positive, but your character still got killed. This doesn't change gameplay, just the visual part.
  
• Fixed a bug where going to 0 window size caused the cameras to get messed up.
  
• Fixed a bug where chest and portal entrances were spawning at the same location.
  
• For the web build, the new way to go fullscreen is to press F11. This is the only way to prevent the escape key from closing the fullscreen.
