Where is Lofwyr?

After every Hairbrained studio's Shadowrun game, Lofwyr always shows up to congragulate you or belittle you or some ♥♥♥♥. I was super looking forward for the inevitable "your secret patron who remove teh APB from your head is actually a dragon who is about to pull a really ♥♥♥♥ move". Alas, I was disappointed.

Hopefully the mini campaign will feature him as a central character. I think he's really cool and I would like it if the runs you go on will start out and stay more high class/high pay/high risk with more emphasis on corporate politiking and the like with rewards being payed out in the tens of thousands and equipment costing hunbdreds of throusands (think Delta grade cyberware...) I'm tired of constantly slumming it.

Ha, well, at least you get a little cameo from Aljernon at one point. That's one-third of the "power triumverate", at least. :P

But yeah, I strongly suspect that the expansion to the main campaign will involve finding out who our mysterious benefactor is.

I seriously thought that the last "go to bed" objective would result in you waking up and finding Lofwyr in the room. Well, there'll still be the Shadows of Hong Kong campaign....

I was sooooooo glad, there wasn't a cameo from him, that would totally ruin my expirience. Hm, I thought the "secret patron" was that VP from Tsang Mechanics, the one with who you can make a deal with in the Prosperity Tower.

It wouldn't really make sense. Lofwyr is powerful, but Hong Kong isn't really in his sphere of influence. We're more likely to see involvement from one of the Asian dragons.

Also, in one of the Shadowland conversations you learn that Deitrich's old metal band MESSERKAMPF! is a major hit around these parts. LOLed when they speculates that the artist probably faded into obscurity as an aging wageslave.

Wasn't that actually mentioned on Shadowland? Also, I believe Racter mentions that when in Berlin he used to run with Lucky Strike, a merc you could meet in the basement bar in the Kreuzbasar.

I remember in a conversation with Duncan about him talking about a skunk shaman who's place got shot up by a shadowrunner, it sounds a lot like the shaman apartments you shoot up in dragonfall.

Lofwyr is primarily a European force. That's not to say he doesn't have any power in Asia, but it's not his backyard like Berlin is.

The only reason he showed up in Returns was because of the scope of the plot. By contrast, a Yama King laying claim over a slum is hardly on the same level.

Yep, expected mysterious benefactor to be Lowfyr who's secretly watching all your progress through the game. Disappointed that no Lofwyr this time. Maybe we'll see him in dlc.

Wait, I remember Lofwyr's German speaking representative speaking with you on the subway train at the end of Dragonfall, but I don't remember him being at the very end of SR:Returns.

I remember he was part of the elf meeting near the end where they discuss plans for fighting the insect spirits, but he wasn't at the very end scene of the game, was he? Or did I miss some special scene that happens after the credits or something?
