Shown Income = The amount you are earning every time the bar fills up correct? Sometimes after upgrades that time goes down, so then should the "Delay" on the Base Data tab be updated accordingly? Or is this automatically calculating that?
Where do you get Speed Bost from?
Also, I had some issues trying to figure out how to enter the numbers properly, so I modified it a bit, to allow me to enter 11 Quadrillion as 11 in one field and select Quadrillion as a drop down in another. It made it easier so I don't have to deal with all of the large numbers.
Here is my version
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pXDnAxYymaK93X6o2WzNJD9ffHE92Om4luTg3sCRmgc/edit?usp=sharing
Also, I don't really get the next upgrades either, so I am just using the number from the unlocks screen, made it yellow because I'm changing that every time.
column A - column D (CostPerOne)
Gravity Booth - 105.00
Payday Clone - 2,929.00
Moon Express - 42,525.00
Oxygen Bar - 493,025.00
Show income is exactly what is shown on the main page for each business. Delay is updated in Speed Boost cell.
1-4 Giant Lasers - Speed boost=1
5+ Giant Lasers - Speed boost=2
25+ Giant Lasers - Speed boost=4
100+ Giant Lasers - Speed boost=8
etc.
I only fill the table after I stabilized my income, bought all available upgrades and waiting a lot of time for next one. So I just fill it manually when I get to Giant Lasers milestones.
Also sometimes I use Speed boost to calculate rough prediction for next run before doing a reset. If I know that my amount of angels will increase by certain percentage, I increase Speed Boost value by same percentage and check what my new income will be if I don't expect to buy any extra upgrades in next run.
This looks much easier to use. Good job. I really need to learn how to use vlookup.
Yes, that's where I get them too, that's why they are white, not grey. Yellow fields are your current setup, white fields are your expected things, grey field are auto-calculated things, I thought of them like this. I described how to fill them in Step 2 in the first post. Usually you just set values from Unlock page to calculate progression till next milestone but you also can calculate effect of other increases: increasing amount of business without reaching milestone (set Next amount to your value and Gained multiplier to 1), effect from buying cash upgrade (set Next amount to your current value and Gained multiplier to multiplier you gain from upgrade), effect from buying angel upgrades (set Next amount to your current value, Gained multiplier to multiplier that you gain from upgrade and Angels spent to percentage of angels you spend on upgrade).
Could you state how you did that? When I try it, it doesn't work.
Which part are you having trouble with? Maybe you just can't get anything to work because it is a read only spreadsheet? You will need to make a copy of it and store it in your own google account before you can make changes.
I don't have a google account, but I have downloaded it to use in Open Office. I really just need to know how to use the LOOKUP function so I can use large number names
Well, my version should have had the lookup function there, unless it got lost somehow when converting for OpenOffice.
In cell D2 it has the following formula
=B2*vlookup(C2,$Q$1:$S$41,3,FALSE)
the lookup is looking up C2 in the $Q$1:$S$41 range and when it finds it, is moving 2 cells over to bring back the large number, false is just so it is exactly and not an estimate.
Once you have that formula iin D2 you can drag it down so it is in all cells the B2 and C2 will change but the lookup range will remain constant because of the $$
Question: are the numbers for this still accurate? I'm at 1410 amusement parks, making 904 tretrigintillion per day (873 untrigintillion per second) and it's saying that it's going to take 12,303 more days JUST get to get 30 more amusement parks.
I realize this was made in July, and there were updates to the Moon at some point, I just want to know.
Thanks!
And people say the moon is possible without cheating?!?!
To fix calculations you need:
1. remove amount of free businesses from the Next amount (for example, if you want to know the cost for 5000 moon shoes and have bought 10 for angels, you need to look for 4990 instead or you can remove that amount in formula, that would be more practical)
2. multiply cost to increase by 0.75 if you already have managers with price reduction
3. just a notice: in first column you need to insert normal income per period, not income per second that is displayed after you buy first group of managers. if you already have them, you can insert them into the second column (real income per second) instead of calculations.
I think that's covers everything that is required to fix it.
This one looks good, but gives weird suggestions. After I inserted my data it showed correct values for income per second, but gave some weird recommendation: "Buy Moon Shoe to level 2.". I have 4627 Moon Shoes so I am not sure what it means. Also I don't see in it how to find how long it will take to get next milestone with your current income.
Anyway, after getting managers that show cash per second you usually don't need complex calculators for Moon. Buy all upgrades that you can. Stop upgrading business at 100 or 10 to the next milestone. Check how much it costs to buy 100 or 10 of them. Divide that cost by displayed income/sec from Oxygen. That's how many seconds you will have to wait. This method can be used when Oxygen gives more that 90% of your income, so most of the time. When this changes you can just combine income from all main businesses and do similar calculations.
It started to go much faster all of a sudden. I went a good while without a reset, but then starting resetting multiple times per day. I got all of the achievements on the moon now just pushing to get all unlocks (even though there is no achieve) From 9,000 to 10,000 moonshoes is a big push despite the x999 everything unlock which the is that upgrade you can buy
