When you log off and return, I assume, time stamps are compared and your average per second is applied to the time you were gone.
My test a moment ago proved this. I compared the manager displayed cash per second with the store displayed daily jump award. They match.
I then calcualted my gain over 10 mins (9 sec oils) - using that rate I estimated how long it would take me to get 100 of the current denom.
I found that in-game, I make something like 2.765X less than I should.
That is, if I should get X amount of money in 1 hour, it will actually take me 2.765 hours to gain said amount if I am in game.
I have confirmed that I make much more in 10 minutes offline than I do 10 mins online.
This nets offline play only. Log in, buy an upgrade and log off. Until the dev removes the sub second calculations this will remain an issue. Which is sad since its a stupid easy fix.
Either normalize all payouts causing the issue to 1 sec timers "behind the scene" or remove the speed boosts and replace them with 2x bonuses. Not exactly advanced economics. seewhatididthar?
