Flash Games on Steam

Why are there flash games on steam? I saw this game on Kongregate a bit ago.

If it hadn't been put onto the steam market, I probably would never of played it as I hadn't heard of it. Same as Game Dev Tycoon, Kindom Rush etc.

I guess it's purpose is to reach out to the rest of the gaming community and market who don't naturally seek or play flash/IOS games :) for that I'm greatful.

I think all games should be welcomed on steam, It doesn't matter on previous platform or coding. As long as it's fun, appeals and entertains an audience - I'm happy.
