General Strategy
Hello-
I've been playing the game for a couple weeks, and I feel I am getting pretty good at it. I've played in a couple events. Question: Are the events "real," in the sense you are really competing with other players, or is it contrived in some way, like the other players aren't really other players, but bots or something?

But that's not my main idea in this post. I was just wanting to start a discussion about general strategy, if anyone is interested. General stuff, which can be applied to the Earth, Moon or an Event.

I think there are two main ideas, and this might be obvious to everyone are like this:
1. You have a lot of investments to choose from, so start with the ones which give the best return.
2. Be careful not to put money in an investment which is priced so high you'll never recoup on your investment.

A few other ideas:
- Buy the managers as soon as you have money for them.
- The unlocks are great. Make sure any one unlock you are paying for is cheap enough that you will make you money back.
- The upgrades are also great, but watch the price you are paying.
- Angels are great, and don't be afraid to do a reset if you will get a lot of angels.

Just some general ideas, and then the conversation can drill down into more detail.

They are real. It just some of them got generic names.
Ok, thanks. Yeah, I was wondering whether the other players in Events were real. I guess it's ok if the names are generic.

Edit: After playing the game some more, I am gathering that the game is mainly about maximizing your income. This means not worrying so much about how long it will take you to recoup your investment, because cash-on-hand is normally not too important.

As long as you have enough cash on hand to make more investments. So if an investment costs a small amount of your cash on hand, it is usually a worth while investment. But another investment might be better ...... why not invest in both?

it is real. the generic names are people playing from phones. events are about suits used and time played. I used 3 different suit sets to win the last event. I usually place in the first 3. When I am not first it is because they use 1 better gear, 2 use accumulated time bonuses, or 3 spend cash. most of my suits are level 4-6. Good luck

Or 4 they simply cheat

Most of my suits are level around 20-30 but I played since they started
Hi guys, thanks for the replies, not sure what you mean by suits .........

(A few days later) - Ok, I get the thing about suits now (did an Internet search)

Just started during the last event that just ended. I ended up taking first place in it, but the #2 person was hard to pass for awhile. After winning, I have no clue how I had any chance at all, unless EVERYONE else was brand new as well. I had the starting equipment pretty much for the whole event (think I got 2 moon pieces as well).

The only equipment that affected the event, I got as rewards from the event itself at certain milestones.

Winning gave me a 3 piece set with each piece multiplying ALL investments on all planets. I think they multiply by each other as well. Anyway it's a huge speed boost.

No way could you possibly win an event against anyone with that set, without something to compete against it. I ended with 205k and second place was 152k. I did notice that second place seemed to be able to get more in the same time as me (I just played a TON more).

Anyway I mention all this just to say, try and get into an event as soon as you can, cause the rewards (even if you don't win) are huge and will help with all the other planets (it also gave me the 100 mega bucks to open mars when I won).

As far as direct tricks/tips etc, it's all pretty much the same, but there are a few little tricks you can do.

First on mars, and in the last event, you can click on spaceships/event robot, to boost your income. Clicking on them extends how long they last. I wish I had the mars planet before the event started as it would have been easier to figure that all out (took me awhile to figure out you could click on it to make it last longer!).

Anyway one trick is to click to full time and then invest/reset everything. You will have enough time to keep clicking on it after you reset, so you don't lose the bonus. It's a more active way of playing, but can boost your speed significantly. Only really worth it early on though as eventually you should be able to do the quests fairly consistantly without the boost.

Same goes for mars, it's only useful for a short amount of time, but worth it if you are about to have a big payoff investment or something.

The main way to advance of course is investing, so try and do that every time you multiply your investments by 10 if you can (obviously not later on in events though).

I did not do this, but now, looking back I wish I had.

You get gold and mega bucks. You can not use mega bucks in events (or it wouldn't let me) to boost investments....but you can for earth/moon/mars. I suggest finding the best ratio of profit (generally it's the last one but not always) and use 10 mega bucks to boost it's return by 7.77. Just need it on the best one as most of your income will come from that anyway.

Now, to make life WAY freaking easier than it was for me, once you do get into an event, you might want to use gold to boost an investment there (since you can't use mega bucks). If you join the next event after this post, I may be in it as well, in which case, good luck taking #1 with my new insane set bonus lol. Still you might do it (cause I probably won't play as much next time) and even if you don't, getting #2-4 still gives great rewards.

Using gold on an investment won't.....quite.....equal out the bonus of someone with a really good set, but it will certainly help (unless they use gold as well).

Once you actually win/get high in an event, boosting in the other planets is WAY easier, so it's great if there is an event when you start or soon afterwards. You can casually boost up the earth/mars while doing the event over 4 days (think it was 4 days), and then once it ends, things will speed up a freakton.

I also won all these time booster thingies that I am not gonna use till another event etc, kinda REALLY unfairly biased towards people who have played in previous events lol. Even lower rankings get a decent # of time boosters.

You could spend money I guess to compete, but you would have to spend alot.

Anyway once you get good equipment sets, it's literally as easy as just logging in every so often, doing a quick reset, upgrading everything/spending angels, and bam, log back off for a few hours and repeat.
Playing in my second event I have noticed a few more things.

First, it seems like the rewards for the quests increase the later into the event you go, although I guess it could also be just based on how many you have finished. One way or another the amount I get has gone up by the last few days (2 days left and I used to get 2k per "special" quest, and now it's 3.5k or something like that.

I had thought the last even was just worth more, as by the end I think I was getting 4k or so per special, but I wasn't there for the whole event so may have missed the lower amounts early on.

Also, and this is just speculation, but it SEEMS like there are two ..kinda annoying factors that come into play.

The first is that if you finish a bunch of quests quickly, it seems like the amount you get for them goes down, to a minimum level. Think 45 was the lowest?. Anyway if you take more time between finishing them, you seem to get more for doing so. That seems to even things out alot between those with equipment etc that boosts speed/income etc.

The second one is also a bit annoying in that it seems to change the requirements (total cash saved, stockpiled etc) based on your current (or perhaps your recent) income rate. If you have the 11x multiplier going, you can actually end up having a really hard one to pass without it still going for instance and it's certainly not 1/10th as long like it should be compared to not having it going.

Both of these do mean you can basically coast, just kick it without the multiplier and time it so you rotate between (buy more) and Have total...quests (finishing them all together.

The buy more quests can all be done with a reset and then they have total quests give you time to kick it and do other stuff while you accumulate enough, making it very easy to just check in every so often.

Anyway not sure if this will help at all, but it's just something I noticed playing this time. I have not been even trying and still have a huge lead (50% more than second place) because I actually have equipment this time (you got it in this event, so everyone has it, but....well.....me having the same as everyone is 100x better than me having nothing and everyone else having equipment lol.

Not sure if I will play another event after this, so just passing on my knowledge. Don't really see the point to keep playing and winning since I'm not actually getting anything useful at this point by taking first place.

Maaaybe I'll just play enough to get all the rewards and just kick it there or something.

Oh yeah, also this event has a full suit that boosts everyones angel % bonus..which is great, but it only works for the event, which means your progress on your planets is slower. Kinda a negative from using that long term. I wonder what the 3 piece set will be for winning this one. The last was a boost to everythings speed (all planets). Weirdly the mid event reward set was actually better (At least for the event)...than what I got for winning the last one!!
