Button Masher

Hello-
There's this button masher thingy in the "event," but it is not clear to me what is happening when I click this button?

Any tips would be appreciated!

When you press the "mash" button and the 10 second timer start, you have to start mashing the circle with the joystick and button symbols to keep up a 15 X multipier on everything.

Ah, so you keep mashing the button after you press Mash!! and for ten seconds you get that multiplier. Ok, I see, thanks!!!!!

Kind of obvious in hindsight now, yeah, .... you can see that your income goes up while you are mashing!!!! I love it!

This was in the last event as well. When you hit the button/monster/robot whatever it is it extends the time past the initial 10 seconds, so you can keep it up long term if you keep pushing the button. It was a 12x multiplier for this last event and made a big difference.

Once you open mars (probably after playing an event or 2), it also has space ships you can click on that do the same thing, but the timer is longer (30 seconds I think).

If you are fast you can even reset/invest and keep the timer going. It's a very active play style but if you are racing someone in an event, it's one way to get ahead, or catch up. Most people are not going to be able to do that non-stop for 4 days, so it's more endurance than anything else at that point. That of course is saying you both have equal equipment/boosts and spend the same amount of money (0$ of not).
