How do I reduce CPU/GPU usage
I've investigated and as much as I believe it's a crypto miner, it's more likely just ♥♥♥♥ code. Anyone know how I can reduce it so I can leave it idle without worrying my GPU is gonna blow up

I just took an example. If you're using an Nvidia GPU you can do it in the Nvidia control panel.

Right click desktop - Nvidia control panel - Manage 3d settings - Program settings - Add Adventure capitalist if it's not already in the list - Go to Background application max frame rate (choose what fps you want). Then go to Max frame rate and add the same fps there.

Are you stupid? I literally said this isnt a crypto miner but I still want to reduce usage. Maybe read the entire post first.

its bad code, aside from rewriting the code not sure what you can do.

generally speaking you open it, buy some things close it, and then don't touch it for a day, shouldn't be eating your CPU too bad

So you're saying that running this game uncapped over 1000 fps vs running it capped at like 30 has no effect? smh......

Confirmed resolved my issue too.
I went with default FPS of 30 background, and 58 Max Frame Rate. Clicked on 'Apply' before exiting app.
Fan noise is back to normal.
