If no, i guess i should buy the angel currency upgrades only when i plan a very long run.
Every angel is unique and need it's own alltime money to be attracted. You can never re-earn the "same" angel, you always get a "new" one and need the higher alltime earnings for it. You always need more and more money.
In your example with 100k angels and spending 50k: Your next angel would be your number 50001 again but the overall number, which determines the money you need, is 100001.
To know when to buy which angel upgrade you want to make sure that a) you gain more from the upgrade then you lose from the sacrifice to increase your profit for that run to gain the angels back and b) to let the run be long enough after the purchase to gain the angels back and a lot more on top.
