You are still resetting?

You mean angels? Then no, there'n no trick. Breakeven Point for the 'Low Sinterest Rates' Upgrade (for 24 Untrigintillion Angels) is at 30 Untrigintillion, so you could buy that Upgrade. But it'll take you 7-9 days to get your 24 Untrigintillion Angels back.

Personally I just bough a few multipliers for Gold. I wanted to support the Devs anyway after playing their game for free for 100 hrs. At this point it's a good investment but I understand if someone doesn't want to spend real money just to improve the speed of a game which is unbalanced at the moment.

It's because so many ppl are spending real money that the devs licked it and formed the game into a cash grave. _The game is not unbalanced, its as it is intended!_

Playing this game does not cost them anything because they dont need to run servers (this game is only connected to steam itself when sync on; u can play offline) and: A normal talented programmer can code a game like this in less than a week.... .
Cookie Clicker for example was coded by an underaged schoolboy and it is more complex. Civilisation was coded by one person in a month and it is far far more complex.

I'd rather spend my money to something realy helpful in the world like Doctors Without Borders or so..

Even people that have paid money are saying the game is incredibly grindy and that the megabucks patch cant come soon enough. your argument doesnt really stand.

Don't attribute to malice what can be attributed to stupidity. The devs couldve easily seen that people were hitting the end of the game, decided to extend that and didnt think it through. Or they added it based on information we dont have, expected people not to hit it until they had their future content and underestimated their userbase. Those are two scenarios that can be very common in development.

Maybe u havent followed the discussions before the patch. There was clearly said by the dev that the sense of the update was making the game easier to finish (concerning archievements). Im not sure but maybe there was an ironic undertone.
Clear for sure is, that the Update did the opposite. No idea how that cannot be understood as a lie...

Pic or it didn't happen.
Concerning the achievements they said to change the situation with the moved goal post so that the players who hit the old finish line (498/498) can get an achievement for it like the ones who reached it before the patch. We've got that new 500 unlocks achievement for that.

What I would have liked is some advance warning for upcoming updates saying "this update might alter/hinder your progress".

The 1.1.1 update came just when I was really close to getting the "Unlock Everything" achievement (I think I had 5-7 unlocks left), and I've noticed that since 1.1.1, I only open the game for a few minutes just to check how much money's been gained now, rather than several hours like I did pre-1.1.1.

Noted! We certainly aren't going to do that again haha.

We actually have an update on the way that is going to change the "moved goalpost" of the final achievement, and address those players who would've been there. We realized after the fact that it was sort of a dummy move (us learning more about the nature of Steam achievements), which is why we have a fix coming (very soon!)

I think there was another threat around it but i failed to find it yet. .. but in the end i dont care. Believe what u want. Waste your money to who u want

That only proves my point of addressing the moved goalpost and offer an achievement for the old finish line.

Thats a lie btw, im not necroing, im updating a post. you CANNOT EVER PLAY OFFLINE. the game will force an always online drm onto you in order to let you get past the "made by hyperhippo" intro screen where it gets your playfabid.
