I don't get your point/question from this thread to be honest. Moon and earth use the same numbers, both in the decimal counting system. The pace is different so the strategy needs to be adapted.
edit: If you struggle with the names and values: Translate the latin words into numbers, add +1, multiply x3 and you get the 10^x value.
duotrigintillion => duo tri => 32 => +1 => 33 => x3 => 99 => duotrigintillion = 10^99
