Angel Investor Effectiveness upgrade question.
When are the upgrades for Angel Investor Effectiveness worth it and what exactly do they do? Say Angelic Mutiny, it costs 100,000 angels and increases Angel Investor effectivness by 2%. By the point in the game where you'd be getting this upgrade your Angel Investor effectiveness should be at 2% or 3%. Will getting this upgrade increase the bonus by a flat amount to 4%-5% (depending on the starting value)?

If you are at 2% would this double your Angel Investor Effectivness and so the upgrade would be worth getting once you are above 200,000 Angel Investors? Would a more general solution be something like solving for A (current Angel Investors) when B is equal to your bonus per angel?
AB = (A - 100000)(B+.02)
So say you started with a per angel bonus of .03
.03A = .05(A-100000)
.6A = A-100000
-.4A = -100000
A = 250000
So with an initial Angel Investor bonus of .03 you'd need 250,000 Angel Investors to make the Angelic Mutiny upgrade to break even. Or am I just not understanding this correctly?

I just did a reset after hitting about 500k angel investors and bought the upgrade and I'm pretty sure it increased my income, so I think my math for 250k being the break even point is right, still not sure.

Your math looks right, yep.
Buying that 100k upgrade with 500k on hand definitely boosted your income.
500k * 3 = 1.5m
400k * 5 = 2m

My approach for the break even points was: If the upgrade costs A angels and gives a xN multiplier the break even point is A*N/N-1
In your case A = 100k, N = 5/3 and N-1 = 2/3.
100k * (5/3)/(2/3) = 250k
