How Do Angels Work?
Say I had 0 angels, I did a soft reset and now have 10,000. Before making any money I buy "Angel Sacrifice" upgrade for 10,000 angels to get 3x profit. I then soft reset again.

Do I have 10,000 angels or 0?
Do I have the "Angel Sacrifice" upgrade or no upgrades?

I have tried searching for this but things weren't exactly clear. So I figured I'd ask a straight forward question about it.

If you soft reset, you gain any new angels that you might have earned but your upgrades are gone. In your case, your second reset would put you back to 0 angels and no upgrades.

My next question then is does a soft reset set your lifetime earnings to 0, making it just as easy to get more angels? (angels seem to be given based on lifetime earnings)

Also, do the upgrades bought with gold get reset or refunded on a soft reset? (here I'm only really meaning the global multiplier).

Also, does the gold you have not spent carry over as well?

EVERYTHING excluding any real-money bought Gold upgrades gets resetted.
The lifetime earning is not resetted, but session earning is.

No. The soft reset won't change your lifetime earnings, meaning if you erase all of your angels, you'll find it more difficult to earn them the second time around.

The gold multiplier is permanent across all resets. It does not get refunded - once you've bought an upgrade with gold, you have that upgrade permanently and you lose the gold you spent permanently.

If you have unspent gold, it won't disappear when you reset and claim your angels.

I think, in earlier game, it would have been nicer to have your angels refunded or their ugrades permanently purchased. Later game though, I can see that it won't be a problem.

Don't spend all your angels. The game warns you when you're about to spend too much angels and asks if you really want to use them. In that case don't go on with the purchase. You wil only lose the angels you have spent (sacrificed) when you reset the game at the investors screen. The ones remaining wil be saved in the next game and will add to your progress.

The rule is to reset when you have doubled the amout of angels you already have. The large dot next to the word Investors on the main screen wil tell you by turning orange. When you reset the angels will be added to the ones you already saved and you wil be able to buy more stuff from the Angel Upgrade page.It might take a couple of resets though in certain stages of the game.

Just keep on resetting when you've doubled you angels, don't wait to long because the progress wil drop. Later on in the game there wil be enough waiting and overall progress wil slow down. But in the mean time buying more and more angel upgrades won't be that much of a problem.

Also read the faq and other past posts. That should clear you up on how the game works.

The manager that puts the upgrades button on the front is 1 angel, that is a great price.

you can skip using that manager that costs 33 billion angels to lump your upgrades into a single buttons.
