First, right click on Adventure Capatilist in your steam library, and turn off cloud syncing in the "update" tab.
Second, navigate to this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[xxxxxxxx]\346900\remote
Those x's are just going to be some random number.
Third, delete EVERYTHING in this folder. These are your saves, so you may want to copy them somewhere just in case you want to go back.
Alright, so you might think that because you've deleted all that save data, that you're done. Unfortunately, there are copies of the saves in the registry, so there are a few extra steps
First, open up regedit.
One way is to hit the start button, and type regedit into the "Search for programs and files" box, and click on regedit when it shows up.
Another way to do this is to hit the windows key and r to open the run prompt, type in regedit, and hit ok. Either way, you'll now be in regedit.
First thing to do in the registry is to back it up. Changes in the registry can screw stuff up pretty badly if done incorrectly. Go to file -> export, and make sure you save this to somewhere where you will be able to get it if stuff goes bad. Make sure that the "Export range" on the bottom of the save dialouge is set to "all".
Now, all you have to do is navigate to "Computer -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Hyper Hippo Productions Ltd. -> Adventure Capitalist!"
Just hover over the Adventure Capitalist folder looking thing, right click on it, and hit "delete". You'll be asked if you're sure you want to delete it. Hit yes, and there you go, all the save data is gone.
Now just start up Adventure Capitalist, and it should be as if you just installed the game.
It's a bit complicated, there really SHOULD just be a hard reset button.
Computer since your operating system uses registry files to run their programs. But the registry file for this game is pretty specific so as long as you only delete this specific registry, there's really no way to go wrong. You get into trouble when you start messing with files that might be used by multiple programs.
