Most of the game: Alternating between Men and Buggles
At the very end: Buggles, then Ambassadors, then LIFE Pods, with everything else being negligible.
Of course without seeing cash/sec it is impossible to know which purchase will produce the greatest benefit.
If you go to the gold shop and click to purchase 1 time warp, it will say something along the lines of "do you want to spend 10 gold bars and gain 15 nonagintillion?" Even if you don't actually have any gold. Thus you can purchase 100 of something and note the difference in cash/day. By doing this I have determined that buggles are the best, followed by ambassadors and life pods with everything else being negligible.
Math
do the following equation:
1 Find how much 1 of the business makes
2 divide this by the time it uses (if it uses 40sec divide by 40 ect. to find income(x1)/sec)
2 use the (AI*2)/100 or (AI*7)/100 for IOS with kongerate membership
3 Add inn all cash multipliers for said business don't forget the xall upgrades
4 add in all AI multipliers for said business again don't forget the xall
5 add in all the Unlocking multipliers, treat the x2 speed as a simply x2 multiplier and still don't forget the xall you get
6 multiply all this by how many businesses you have, so if you have 65000 dirt multiply by 65000
boom, you now have the cash/sec for say 65k dirt.
This is what the machine does every time in a split second just in case you thought this was hard
1. When at low amount of businesses find period for each business
2. Divide displayed income for each business by it's period
3. Multiply result by amount of speed boosts you got for each business and total speed boost
4. Compare those cash/sec values for each business to each other.
End result when Mars is finished will look like this:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wrSF5W7dJIMsUQmn9B5ieoGg9eqgeAJNekqQa66CKU4/edit#gid=0
Bugglers - 72.93%, Ambassadors - 24.52%, LiFE Pods - 2.54%, Men (boosted) - 0.01%.
There may be small changes in final percentages as you continue to progress but because you don't get any new upgrade don't expect any huge differences anymore.
To OP: these are final best, they won't necessary be best during your progress and when you reach this point you won't need extra income anymore so I guess that's not what you are looking for.
Actually as other people suggested you don't need to use boosts on Mars on any of businesses. You can finish it in about a week of normal playing without any boosts.
