Could I be banned if I keep trying this glitch?

So after some research with the game I found out that if you change the date of your PC, and restart the game, it will give you large amounts of money since it thinks you didn't play for that long.
Can I be VAC banned , or banned from steam at all?

It's a single player game with no VAC servers to be banned from. You'll be fine man.

You might not be banned, but you might get added to the long list of people who complained on the forums when their game stopped working.

A lot of people do this unfortunately.
You wont get any steam ban, you might get banned from achievement tracking websites and you might glitch your game, which makes Moon/Mars unlock impossible.
