Best shop purchase : suits, flux capcitors, or multipliers ?
Since the last update we all got some gold, and I'm looking for the best way to spend it, and having never purchased anything I'm a bit troubled on how things add to each other.

First thing the suits :
- Gold suit : X2 multiplier
- Blue suit : X3 Multiplier
- White suit : X2 profit speed
- Green suit : ... nope :steammocking:

So why exactly is the White suit 3.5 times more expensive as the gold suit ? it's going to be X2 to the amount of money made it both cases, no ?

Then, for the two other purchases, why is 1 flux capacitor (X1.21) sold for a price which is almost the price of the X12 multiplier ? That's a huge difference of ROI !

I'm guessing that this has to do with how these bonuses stack when you buy more, but I'm quite confused here as I've seen many people refering to additive and multiplicative, but I'm not sure of what this means ?

Are the normal multipliers stacking together by adding the value to each other ? like first time you buy, you get "12", which makes X12 to money-generation, but second time you get "+12" which makes a total of X24 to money-generation (thus only improving by a X2) ? As opposed to the multipliers bought with the cash/angel upgrades and unlock that just multiply the hell out of each other (it would make a total X144, why is an actual X12 improvement) ?

And then the flux capacitor would multiply each other, so buying 2 of them would be a total of X1.4641 rather than X1.42 ?

And finally how do the suits stack with these, the X3 from the Blue suit is counting as a normal X3 multiplier, or a separated one ? I mean if you buy Blue suit + one X3 multiplier, is it a total of X9 or a X6 because they add ?
Similar question for the White suit with Flux Capacitors.

Multipliers stack by adding instead of multiplying, so buying a x12 and x3 multiplier boosts you by x15.

Suits (Gold and Blue) stack with multipliers, which means Blue Suit + x3 multiplier = x6 multiplier, not x9. White suit is good only because it affects SPEED, not amount, and so is exempt from this. Blue suit is still the best purchase for the cost.

However, suits in general are less effective than planet multipliers. Unless you're interested in the cosmetic factor (which, hey, I am) and are really concerned about boosting multiple planets with one purchase, get a x12 booster. Getting a x3 multiplier on Earth and then another on Moon is still cheaper than the Blue suit if I recall correctly.

Personally, I have a Blue suit and a x12 on Earth. I'm saving for a x12 on the Moon which should help propell me through the mid-game-Moon duldroms. Keep in mind Earth is still unable to be completed, even though a fix should be coming soon according to the devs.

I can awser some for you.
"I'm guessing that this has to do with how these bonuses stack when you buy more, but I'm quite confused here as I've seen many people refering to additive and multiplicative, but I'm not sure of what this means ?"
If you buy a x3 and then one more x3. Additive it will end up as a x6 (3+3). Multiplicative it will end up as a x9 (3 x 3).
In this game the x? bunuses are additive so you are correct with this: "first time you buy, you get "12", which makes X12 to money-generation, but second time you get "+12" which makes a total of X24 to money-generation (thus only improving by a X2)".

From what I have read the suit just add, a x12 + a blue suit = x15.

How flux work and white suit work with flux I hope someone else can tell.

My no pro tip is to buy a x12 if you can.

Edit dang it Shadorian you beat me with 2 min :)

Thank you both for your answers on the multipliers !

I'm going to do some calculations on how to spend my gold, and I'll assume that the flux capacitor/white suit are stacking multiplicatively together.
If anyone has info on flux capacitors please correct me ! (I've read weird things in other topics so I'm a bit in doubt about them)

I'm sorry to say I have next to no knowledge on them since neither I nor anyone I've seen seems to buy them. If I suggest anything, it would be to do the same thing and stay away from them.

looks like the capacitors are a x1.21 so anything multiplied by 1 stays the same so it's really the .21 that affects the results. Makes out for a 21% increase in speed for each one you buy. the speed just affects how fast the bars move and fill up. i would look at the flux as separate upgrade from money multiplies but still the same means to and end.
