This isn't an idling game.

I originally got the game in May, not too long since its release on Steam. I have clocked in 5,200 hours for the game, and let me tell you that this game will beckon and demand so much attention from me; that I have to leave the game open and running in the background.

Never have I generally felt this way with most games, especially since this is supposed to be one of the most passive games out there. This game will always keep me occupied with buying upgrades for each businesses. I've even made highly considerable progress; fully plat'd Earth and I'll be about finished with earning all of the Earth upgrades in a couple of months.
I've saved up 80 gold, too.

You see, the reason why this game earns so much from me is because with every possible move I can make, I probably could've had made the best choice with the given available options, or I could've actually hurt profit rates by making a faulty and miscalculating move that would result in slower income rates in preferable amounts; but the game never tells me I'm failing since I'm actively learning from my mistakes and, it's actually a highly provisional experience since it's almost fundamentally like other games, including one of my favorites like Dark Souls... and funnily enough I should admit I play Adventure Capitalist while waiting to be summoned or when I can invade hosts in Dark Souls, and sometimes I realize a little too late that I've just been summoned to someone else's world because of Adventure Capitalist.

Just because it requires more of your attention than you would typically expect from idle games, doesn't mean it isn't an idle game. Compare your time spent in game to the time spent out of game.
