x3 Multiplier Does it work???

Just spent 20 gold for a x3 permanent multiplier for Earth and did not notice any change. Looks like I probably should go for a bigger multiplier. This was my first gold purchase for an uprade/boost and I kinda thought that there would be some kind of symbol or indicator to show that you bought it and that it was working.

Do I do this after my purchase? I spent the 20 gold already and got a confirmed purchase for the x3 multiplier and did not know I needed to do something else.

It is already working. What I'm saying is you can see your multiplier there. You should see:

Earth multipliers
x3
Earth flux capilators
x0

If both are x0, something is wrong.

I have wondered about this myself since I have never made any purchases. How do you know it's there and working? This is good info to know. Thank you.

Thanks man. I rechecked and the multiplier is working. Kinda worried about a loss of gold there for a little bit.

Need more than 3x to win. Try 36x multipliers and 7 Fluxs. Then time hack between events

Okay. So you can stack them. For now I will bump it up to a 15x with a 12x and go from there depending on my gold.

Just used my extra gold from the events and from the 50 gold for 1,000 lasers or 1,000 of everything on the moon and bumped the multiplier on Earth up to 27x. 12 + 12 + 3. Letting it run for now but I may stack another 12 on top. Still at 4500-4600 newspaper range.

Quick trick on multipliers. buy mulitpliers up to 30x, after that flux capacitors are a better deal, as they are multiplicative multipliers, where the the regular multipliers are additive multipliers.

i.e. buy 3 3x mulitpliers you get a x9 multiplier/boost, 3x plus 3x plus 3x, while with flux capacitors, if you buy 3, you get 1.21 times 1.21 times 1.21 multiplier. So the math works out that flux capacitors start being the better deal after you have 30x in multipliers. Or you can just take the minor hit on your first flux capacitor and go flux capacitors after a single 27x purchase, and everyone after the first will still be a better deal than the the regular multipliers.

Stupid question here. Do the flux capacitors work while the game is off or does the game need to be open and you have to constantly click on it? I have extra gold from the events and game updates but since I cannot leave my game open I can only purchase things that work 24/7 whether the game is open or closed.
