Weird font glitch, any help?

There is a weird font glitch happening. it happens in the middle of a game and all the text becomes distorted and stretched out. I can still interact but I don't know the cost or the amount of money I have, and it's not pleasing to look at. it mainly happens after I change the amount I will buy, or a GUI pops up. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times.

Have you check to see other causes that can damage the files? Damage files can show this.
Since you stated you uninstall and reinstall multiple times then this mean something that is not the game is causing the files to be damage. Damage aka corrupt.

I'm having the same issue, Reaper23 said it was corruption, but I came back to this game years after I stopped playing it, and found the text to be all glitched out and weird, I dont know what it could be, but help would be greatly appreciated

i am also having this corrupted looking text and i can't read anything. Anyone know how to solve this please.

I made a suggested not exact cause. From my experience with Steam games I know certain games can lead to file corruption on the pc. This game how ever had a weird problem I don't remember how they fix it other than saying it was a bug. It will affect new players playing this game while others don't have the problem anymore. Some still do even though they're not new this same bug came back or it appear that way since others had a different problem causing it.

Unfortunately, Those threads that have the answer to this bug have been deleted on here to clear up space. If I have time I can look into this to see what I can find to help. Like any other problems trial and error is the only way to fix things. This will take time

EDIT: You can go to the help center which is pin top of the forums and the link will take you there. Look for known Steam issues the stuff you guys are experiencing are most likely there

I had that bug weeks ago. Have to play it in window mode for it to go away. Hope this helps!

I was having the same issue after I had Razer in-game FPS and such enabled. I disabled it and not I don't have that issue. I would check to see if you have anything like that enabled. Might fix the issue.

i disabled my razer fps count and it fixed the issue

i fixed it by changing my graphics quality to good instead of fantastic
