They did created a Dev post about it on here for mobile games that they're moving onto mobile and the thread still remains this proves they're still paying attention but you can't see them reading it next to you.
"They won't read it" by implying they don't read the forums. I've already contact Hyper Hippo many times before due to some questionable things they need to be aware of which I provided the proof of my claim. They do look at the forums. They may not comment as much as they have before that doesn't mean they don't read the forums you can say that to any company even Valev. They told me they see the stuff in question but they can't do anything about it this proves they're keeping an eye out. Other wise they won't have been aware of what I show them to let me know they know that already.
"Steam is a video game digital distribution service and storefront by Valve. It was launched as a standalone software client in September 2003 as a way for Valve to provide automatic updates for their games, and expanded to distributing and offering third-party game publishers' titles. Steam offers various features, like digital rights management (DRM), game server matchmaking and anti-cheat measures, and social networking and game streaming services. It provides the user with automatic game updating, saved game cloud synchronization, and community features such as friends messaging, in-game chat and a community market."
With the facts in quotes above one of the features is a forum in one location OP line of reasoning isn't wrong to ask on the forums in the correct area which is a another way to get a responds or just to express in a healthy manner. Players can still raise concerns and discuss matters. That's why there's a "General Discussion" when entering the forums of the game related. As long it is related OP can still talk about it so no need to discourage OP on the matter by saying "They won't read it". If that is untrue then ask your self why hasn't the devs topic been remove from the forum in the same fashion of other players who raise concerns? As long it is following the rules and healthy it will remain.
There's another type of forum where it is only for the devs and no one else. This can be open or private. This type of forum makes it so they won't read no matter how much players want to post. These forums still exist. If Steam and Valve really want too they could have made it devs only but they didn't.
