Game stuck on loading screen.

No matter what I do , no matter where I search , No matter who helps me from a normal average person to a game developer , I cannot manage to play the game because it remains stuck in the loading screen , I tried absolutely everything , from running in compatibility mode with every type of windows , reinstalling the game , verifying the integrity , deleting regedit files , reseting the PC ,and so on. It's so frustrating that it no longer works , and I just want to have fun , someone , anyone, please help me , somehow.

Yeah its the only way the game will load it apparently needs to pull something from this site to work... But I unlock it then block it again once game starts up.

Sure log into your pihole and unblock this "ca87.playfabapi.com" or just add it to whitelist manually

Worked for me, I had just playfabapi.com on the whitelist, but once adding the ca87 it worked perfectly

I really don't understand what does ca87 mean or pihole neither playfabapi , all these meanings sound like a coding scam or something .

pihole is basically a way to block advertisements in your wifi. apparently this game is blocked by our pihole (rasperry pi), that explains why it does not work for me; but if you do not have a pihole setup there must be other issues. Sad, I enjoyed the game back then on Kongregate, and optimized it here, and now its just ... dead? :/

it's not the game, it's your firewall. unblock the following:
ca87.playfabapi.com
perf-events.cloud.unity3d.com
cdp.cloud.unity3d.com

I had the same issue and found the following issues. These are all requests by the game being blocked by my DNS feeds via pfsense. the logic is the same regardless of your firewall, assuming you're using a feed which list these URLS as spam

are you using any antivirus or firewall/malware software other than that is provided by default in windows. i'm assuming youre using windows because linux is rarely the source of these issues unless your firewall on the OS layer is blocking OR your firewall on the hardware level/appliance is the source as in my case. also, do you ever see the player ID on your load screen? The playfabapi user id tied to your steam account. that would tell you if the first URL i provided is blocked, if it was/is it will not appear on the load screen either.

I'm not using any other antiviruses other than the default one . And I understand what you are saying , I just don't know how to do all this stuff from just someone that just explains it to me , I need to see where to go , and what to do step by step.

I had the same problem. I use VPN. All I had to do was pause my VPN, then launch the game and the game started right up and I could play it. So if you have VPN try pausing it until the game gets past that hyper hippo screen. I hope this helps anyone who is reading this, if not then I think what Satchey said should work.
